Technology development is at the core of TactoTek. Creating IMSE® solutions demands seamless collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines. Our multidisciplinary teams, spanning design, mechanics, electronics, illumination, embedded software, material science, reliability, and process engineering, work closely with customers and partners to turn visionary ideas into scalable, high-performing solutions. This work is supported by our IMSE Technology Development Lab, which contributes hands-on expertise to ensure manufacturability and smooth transition from R&D to production. These are not traditional manufacturing roles, they are active developers shaping the future of smart surface technology and driving TactoTek’s innovation forward.
Our global Sales and Customer Solution teams support customers across nearly every continent, with sales offices in Germany, the USA, and Japan to stay close to key markets and customer needs. Headquartered in Oulu, Finland, a hub of innovation, we serve a growing demand for IMSE® solutions in industries such as automotive, home appliances, and beyond. Because IMSE technology introduces new design opportunities and manufacturing requirements, our sales managers work in close collaboration with Customer Solution Engineers and subject matter experts. This team-based approach ensures that customers receive the guidance and technical insight needed to explore and implement IMSE solutions with confidence.
